Why this site?
After long hours spent to understand why my JAVASCRIPTS didn't function on my page, whereas I had copied them on a page where there perfectly functioned, I decided to share my experience with internauts that will want to consult this site as well.
I test my pages with IE 4, IE 3, IE 3 16bits, NE 4, NE 3, NE 3 16 bits, NCSA Mosaic 2.1 32 bits and AMSDS Ariadna 1.1, surprises are numerous, except for the last 2 navigators that don't support JAVASCRIPT.
You can see that &trade character that mean TM is not understood by netscape, but it's an ISO error.
To this days, do incompatibilities that I listed as well put in reason MICROSOFT™ that NETSCAPE™, and surprise? IE 4 seems to include itself (at least with JAVASCRIPT).
An advice for creators of pages web, don't use VBSCRIPT, these scripts are not understood by navigators of NETSCAPE™.
For users of MICROSOFT™ FRONTPAGE™, this software, that I use, is very well, but for compatibility, attention don't use the WEBOTS components, and if you want to go farther a little in the conception of pages web, I can only counsel you to use an external publisher like WORDPAD to modify the HTML code of your pages.
